Close Game 1 turns ugly for Tigers in eighth

The Tigers got solo home runs from Victor Martinez, J.D. Martinez and Miguel Cabrera to stay within striking distance, but an eight-run Orioles eighth, fueled by an error and an ineffective bullpen cost the Tigers a chance to rally in a 12-3 loss in Game 1 of the American League Division Series in Baltimore.
