Chiefs’ Jeff Allen to have surgery, likely miss season

Coach Andy Reid announced Friday that right tackle Jeff Allen will undergo surgery to repair a bicep tendon. Can Alex Smith survive the season behind an offensive line that could be the NFL’s worst?
