Chatwood’s arm, bat lift Cubs to sweep of Crew

Tyler Chatwood and the Cubs shut down the Brewers for the fourth straight game on Sunday. Chatwood gave up two hits over seven scoreless innings and helped himself with an RBI single in the Cubs’ 2-0 victory over the Brewers to complete a sweep of the four-game series at Wrigley Field. It was the Cubs’ fifth shutout of the Brewers this year, and Chicago now holds a 7-1 lead against their NL Central rivals. Milwaukee, which came to Wrigley riding an eight-game winning streak, totaled two runs in the four games.
