Castillo, Dotel cleared of Dominican drug-ring ties

Former major leaguers Luis Castillo and Octavio Dotel have been cleared in an investigation of drug trafficking in the Dominican Republic, Attorney General Jean Alain Rodríguez announced Friday. Dotel still faces unrelated illegal weapons charges.
