Buxton undergoes MRI as Twins await results

Twins center fielder Byron Buxton suffered an injury to the hamate bone in his left hand on a swing during Wednesday’s 11-1 win over the White Sox, and he underwent an MRI exam Thursday morning. The results have yet to be announced, but the Twins hope to have an update during Thursday’s game against the White Sox.
