Bumgarner’s heroics not enough for Giants

Madison Bumgarner’s action-packed evening made him an exception among the Giants on Tuesday. Aside from Bumgarner, who jawed with Yasiel Puig, lined a two-run homer and pitched effectively, the Giants were subdued by Dodgers right-hander Zack Greink, who lasted eight innings and improved to 5-0 against San Francisco this season as Los Angeles prevailed, 4-2.
