Bregman hot cornering market on saving runs

For five innings of Saturday night’s World Series Game 4, Astros starting pitcher Charlie Morton was close to perfect at Minute Maid Park. When he wobbled, his defense was there to save him. Third baseman Alex Bregman made an athletic play to cut down a runner at home plate in the sixth inning, keeping a scoreless pitchers’ duel between Morton and the Dodgers’ Alex Wood intact.
