Bourjos’ hard work leads to walk-off single

Limited playing time has left Peter Bourjos to carry around the confidence generated from his early-summer work with the club’s hitting coaches without much opportunity to show it off. Yet he parlayed a two-hit game on Tuesday into a rare start against a right-handed pitcher on Wednesday and ended that game with the second walk-off hit of his career, giving the Cardinals a 1-0 win over the Pirates.
