Blach outduels Kershaw with Panik’s help

With Dodgers legends Sandy Koufax and Kirk Gibson watching, Joe Panik homered just inside the right-field foul pole in the fifth inning Thursday as Ty Blach and the Giants edged Clayton Kershaw and the defending National League champions, 1-0, on Opening Day at Dodger Stadium.
