Birds waiting on MRI results for Machado, Hardy

The Orioles are waiting for team orthopedist Dr. Michael Jacobs to come in and read the results of Manny Machado’s MRI on his right knee on Tuesday afternoon. Machado, who was originally slated to have the MRI at 10 a.m. ET, had some issues with the machine being down. He had to go to another facility, along with shortstop J.J. Hardy, who had an MRI on his left thumb.
