Betts set to claim first AL batting title

Mookie Betts can add his first career American League batting title to his various list of accomplishments this season. Entering the final game of the regular season against the Yankees on Sunday at Fenway Park, Betts had a .346 batting average, and with teammate J.D. Martinez in second place, some 17 points behind, there was no realistic way he could be caught.
