Berdych ousts No. 3 Nadal in Aussie quarters

Tomas Berdych showed Rafael Nadal the door Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, beating him in straight sets for the Czech’s first win over the Spaniard in 18 matches dating to 2007.
