Beltran undergoes surgery on ailing right elbow

Carlos Beltran underwent surgery to remove loose pieces and a bone spur from his troublesome right elbow on Tuesday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and the Yankees outfielder is expected to be ready for Spring Training.
