Bassitt spot on as A’s win series with Tigers

Chris Bassitt delivered six strong innings in a spot start and Jed Lowrie stayed tough on the Tigers with an RBI double as the A’s secured a series win. Mike Fiers went seven strong innings in the loss, while Leonys Martin made a pair of stellar catches. Lowrie doubled again in the eighth as he’s 13-for-38 (.342) on this road trip.
