Backed by big frames, Locke handles Fish

Jeff Locke gave up a two-run blast to Christian Yelich in the second inning, but he went on to retire 16 of the final 17 batters he faced. The lefty’s shutdown ending and a four-run first inning propelled the Pirates to a 7-3 win over the Marlins at PNC Park, and they were able to do it without the help of Andrew McCutchen, Neil Walker or Pedro Alvarez.
