Backed by big bats, Berrios silences O’s
Fresh off a three-homer win on Saturday night, the Twins used a dominant shutout by starter Jose Berrios and hit four homers — two by Brian Dozier — en route to a 7-0 road series win over the Orioles. Berrios, following up six innings of no-hit baseball by Kyle Gibson, was even more dominant. The righty held Baltimore to three hits over nine crisp innings in his season debut, needing 57 pitches to get through the first six innings. Berrios allowed one baserunner through the first eight innings, a third-inning double by Orioles rookie Chance Sisco.
