Back-to-back jacks give White Sox series win
Pinch-hitting in the sixth inning, Daniel Palka continued his hot start to 2018 with a two-run home run off Brewers reliever Matt Albers, and Adam Engel followed with a solo shot to beat Milwaukee and claim a series win. Brent Suter struck out six over five-plus innings for the Brewers, while Dylan Covey struck out seven for the White Sox. Milwaukee entered Sunday with the Majors’ second-lowest bullpen ERA at 2.55, but Albers and Dan Jennings were each charged with two runs.
