Atlanta picks up Flowers’ option; no to Dickey’s

The Braves declined their team option on right-hander R.A. Dickey’s contract for the 2018 season, the club announced Monday afternoon. Atlanta also announced it exercised the ’18 team option on the contract of catcher Tyler Flowers.
