Astros rally late for win after James’ 9-K debut

Tyler White broke open a tie game in the bottom of the eighth inning with a two-out, two-run double, sparking the Astros to a 7-3 come-from-behind victory over the Angels at Minute Maid Park. Making his first Major League start, right-hander Josh James — ranked as Houston’s No. 6 prospect by MLB Pipeline — allowed three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out nine, tied for second by an Astros starter making his debut.
