Astros’ late rally seals series win over A’s

Gerrit Cole struck out 12 A’s, and the Astros scored five runs between the seventh and eighth innings to take the series from Oakland at Minute Maid Park. George Springer hit his eighth home run and had an RBI single, while Jake Marisnick and Jose Altuve delivered key RBIs late. Jonathan Lucroy had two RBIs for Oakland, who got a quality start from Trevor Cahill. The A’s committed four errors, three of which came in the seventh inning.
