A’s walk way to top AL Wild Card spot

In danger of letting go of their American League Wild Card spot Saturday, the A’s not only survived a game started by Felix Hernandez but won it, courtesy of Jed Lowrie’s bases-loaded walk against a wild Fernando Rodney in the 10th inning for a 3-2 victory at a roaring Safeco Field.
