A’s top pick boosts Sooners’ CFB playoff hopes

Kyler Murray, the A’s top selection in this year’s MLB Draft, helped Oklahoma improve its case for a spot in this year’s College Football Playoff, leading the fifth-ranked Sooners to a 39-27 victory over No. 9 Texas in Saturday’s Big 12 championship game.
