A’s offense erupts as Jackson earns 100th win

Edwin Jackson allowed three hits and struck out five in 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball to earn his 100th career win and lead the Athletics to a 10-1 win over the Blue Jays on Monday in the series opener. Mark Canha and David Piscotty each hit a solo homer as the A’s kicked off an eight-game homestand in emphatic fashion. Marco Estrada allowed four runs and five hits in four innings for the Blue Jays, who are in the middle of a 10-game road trip.
