A’s get Fiers from Tigers for players to be named

The A’s have acquired right-handed pitcher Mike Fiers from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for two players to be named or cash considerations, the club announced on Monday. To clear a spot on the 40-man roster, the A’s designated left-handed pitcher Jeremy Bleich for assignment.
