A’s are equipped to get out of rut

At some point soon, the Athletics are going to pull out of the funk they are in, but Monday night’s 5-4 walk-off loss in 12 innings to the White Sox was their ninth setback in 11 games. Their chances to win the AL West have all but vanished and their Wild Card lead is down to a game.
