Angels reliever Jewell suffers leg injury at home plate

Rookie right-hander Jake Jewell departed the Angels’ 9-6 loss to the Red Sox in the eighth inning after appearing to seriously injure his right ankle while attempting to cover home on a defensive play at the plate.
