Angels make series of roster moves

The Angels made a few roster moves on Sunday morning, based on Saturday night’s 10-3 loss to the Rays at Tropicana Field. Pitcher Michael Roth was optioned to Double-A Arkansas, and pitcher Joe Thatcher was placed on the disabled list with a sprained right ankle. The Halos called up pitchers Cam Bedrosian and Fernando Salas from the Class A Advanced Inland Empire.
