Anderson’s 3 RBIs lift White Sox over Twins

Tim Anderson had two hits and drove in three runs to support Hector Santiago’s effective start against his former team as the White Sox beat the Twins, 5-2, on Wednesday night at Target Field. Santiago (2-2) surrendered two runs on six hits and three walks in five innings. Four relievers combined for four scoreless innings with two hits allowed while striking out eight. Joakim Soria pitched the ninth for his sixth save in eight chances.
