Altuve wins GIBBY for Breakout Everyday Player of the Year
Jose Altuve, who won the American League batting crown and Silver Slugger Award at second base, has added a GIBBY to his resume. The 5-foot-6 dynamo won the award for Breakout Everyday Player of the Year after leading the Majors with a .341 batting average and setting a club record with 225 hits.
