Altuve chasing more history, AL batting crown

With five games remaining entering Tuesday’s action against the Rangers, Altuve led the Major Leagues in batting average (.345) and hits (221) and the American League in stolen bases (54), putting him in position to become just the second player since 1945 to lead his league in those three categories in the same season.
