Almonte, Liriano bring brooms for Padres
Rookie Rymer Liriano hit his first Major League home run and Abraham Almonte added a long ball and some sparkling defense as the Padres completed a three-game sweep with a 5-3 victory over the Rockies in front of a crowd of 23,902 at Petco Park.
