AL batting leader Altuve in Astros’ lineup

Jose Altuve, the Astros’ All-Star second baseman who is in line to lock up the team’s first batting title, is in the starting lineup at second base for Sunday’s season finale against the Mets at Citi Field after requesting to play. He initially was announced as not being in today’s lineup. Altuve entered Sunday with a .340 average, leading Detroit’s Victor Martinez (.337) in the American League.
