Ailing wrist keeps Trout out of Angels’ lineup

Mike Trout, who left the team’s 7-2 loss Wednesday against the Rays in the first inning with a right wrist contusion, is out of the lineup ahead of Friday’s series opener against the American League Central-leading Indians at Progressive Field. The right-handed-hitting center fielder was held out of Thursday’s series finale against the Rays.
