After encouraging MRI, Pearce still day to day

The right abdominal strain that forced Steve Pearce out of the Orioles’ 9-1 win against the Twins on Friday before the fourth inning shouldn’t keep him out long — a Saturday morning MRI confirmed that it was just a mild strain and the surprising slugger said he’s “day to day.”
