Phillies back in first place as bats come alive
The Phillies came out firing Saturday night against Padres starter Walker Lockett, and rolled their way to a 5-1 victory at Petco Park. The win put the Phillies back into sole possession of first place in the division, as the Braves lost to the Brewers, 4-2. Riding a scoreless drought of 19 innings, the Phillies jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first. Maikel Franco smashed a solo shot in the fourth and Hernandez followed suit in the fifth, backing another strong effort from Aaron Nola.
