Crawford (hand) ready to rejoin Phillies
The Phillies’ bench could become a little deeper as early as Wednesday. Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said infielder J.P. Crawford could rejoin the team Wednesday, depending on what happens in Tuesday night’s game against the D-backs at Chase Field. Crawford has been on the 10-day disabled list since June 20 because of a broken left hand. He played his seventh rehab game Tuesday with Class A Advanced Clearwater.
