Astros put up 14 runs while blanking Dodgers
The Astros scored four times in the sixth and seven times in the eighth to blast past the Dodgers, 14-0, and extend their winning streak to four games. Marwin Gonzalez, Josh Reddick and Jake Marisnick all homered for Houston, which has won four in a row to improve to 30 games over .500 at 71-41. Lance McCullers Jr. threw four scoreless innings, striking out five batters, and Brad Peacock retired all six batters he faced with four strikeouts. McCullers came out to warm up for the fifth, but an elbow injury forced him out of the game.
