Nicasio lands on DL with knee inflammation
Right-handed reliever Juan Nicasio, who has struggled to a 6.00 ERA this season and gave up his sixth home run of the season in Thursday’s 7-3 loss to the Blue Jays, was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Friday with inflammation in his right knee.
