Freeland’s scoreless start leads Rox past A’s

Kyle Freeland threw six scoreless innings to lead the Rockies on the mound, while Nolan Arenado hit his 100th home run at Coors Field. Garrett Hampson and Ian Desmond also had RBIs for Colorado. Sean Manaea allowed three runs over five innings for the A’s, who got their lone run on an RBI double from Jed Lowrie. Oakland finished the game 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.
