Turner flirts with cycle as Nats claw back to .500
Trea Turner’s go-ahead two-run triple highlighted a night where he went 3-for-6 and finished a double shy of the cycle in a win over Miami on Thursday at Marlins Park. Bryce Harper added to the lead with a run-scoring double and the Nats bullpen closed out a victory to bring them back to .500, at 51-51. J.T. Realmuto put the Marlins on the board early in a game in which Dan Straily put Miami in a position to win, but Adam Conley coughed up three runs in the seventh to take the loss.
