Angels cruise past O’s after Trout’s early HR

Mike Trout launched a tone-setting homer — his 24th jack of the season — in his return to center field and right-hander Felix Pena logged 5 1/3 strong innings to lead the Angels in the series opener. Andrelton Simmons had a four-hit game, while Martin Maldonado also went deep. Orioles starter David Hess never got on track as he labored in a two-run third after giving up the homer to Trout.
