In Red Sox debut vs. Yanks, Pearce bats cleanup

Less than 24 hours after being traded to the Red Sox, Steve Pearce not only joined his new team, but batted cleanup and started at first base for the opener of a three-game rivalry showdown vs. the Yankees on Friday night at Yankee Stadium.
