Snell carries no-no into 7th as Rays cruise

Blake Snell carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, and the Rays’ offense came up huge in an 11-0 win over the Nationals Monday night at Tropicana Field. Kevin Kiermaier struck early with a grand slam as part of a six-run second inning, and Wilson Ramos homered twice in the rout. Gio Gonzalez struggled with command, walking five batters and allowing six earned runs over an inning-plus of work as the Nationals had an off-night after arriving in the Tampa area at 5 a.m. ET Monday morning.
