McCullers’ quality start guides Astros past Sox

In his 12th start of the season, Lance McCullers Jr. tossed six solid innings of two-run ball, steering the Astros to a 4-2 win over the Red Sox on Thursday night at Minute Maid Park. Carlos Correa supported McCullers with a laser home run to left field in the first inning off Boston lefty Drew Pomeranz, who took the loss.
