Quintana sets strong tone as Cubs clip Mets

Jose Quintana fired six strong innings and Ben Zobrist opened the scoring with a two-run homer as he finished a triple shy of the cycle in the series-opening win. Seth Lugo worked four scoreless innings in his first start of the season, but the Mets’ bullpen labored in the loss. Brandon Nimmo broke up the shutout with his sixth home run.
