Peavy flirts with no-hitter in besting Brewers

Four days after Madison Bumgarner lost his perfect game to the leadoff hitter in the eighth, Jake Peavy lost his no-hit bid with one out in the top of the eighth Saturday when Mark Reynolds flared a single to right, but the Giants defeated the Brewers, 3-1, inside AT&T Park.
