Hold lands on DL with hamstring strain
In his final night filling in for Xander Bogaerts at shortstop, Red Sox infielder Brock Holt left Thursday’s eventual 5-4 win over the Blue Jays with tightness in his left hamstring. On Friday, the Red Sox placed Holt on the 10-day disabled list with a hamstring strain.
