Gurriel out 5-6 weeks after surgery on left hand

Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel has had surgery on the hamate bone in his left hand, MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart reports. According to McTaggart, Gurriel’s recovery timetable is five to six weeks, so he will begin the regular season on the disabled list.
