Mets outright 5 to clear space on 40-man

The Mets outrighted five players off their 40-man roster on Wednesday. Outfielders Wuilmer Becerra and Travis Taijeron, infielder Phillip Evans and pitchers Tyler Pill and Erik Goeddel are now free agents.
