Jays rock Sale as Sox can’t trim magic number

The magic number hasn’t moved since the Red Sox returned to Fenway Park for their final homestand of the season. And after Chris Sale gave up a season-high four homers in Tuesday night’s 9-4 loss to Blue Jays, Boston’s lead in the American League East was in danger of shrinking to three with five games left in the season.
